Jenna Morasca becomes pro wrestler

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Survivor: Amazon winner Jenna Morasca will be joining TNA Wrestling as a professional wrestler, set to make her debut March 12, at 9 p.m. on Spike TV’s TNA iMPACT. “Everyone is covered in glitter and makeup and stuff and then goes and beats the crap out of each other,” says Morasca about what attracted her to wrestling. “This is perfect for me.”

Survivor 19 rumored to be taking place in Samoa

CBS Orders 2 More Seasons of Survivor

CBS has announced that they have ordered two more seasons of Survivor – both airing during the 2009-10 TV season, and both hosted by Jeff Probst. The new seasons will bring the total to 20.

Ben “Coach” Wade fired from coaching job

Survivor: Tocantins contestant Ben “Coach” Wade has been fired from his job as women’s soccer coach at Southwest Baptist University. The firing took place one week after the premiere of Survivor: Tocantins and seems to be due to Wade taking an excessive leave. Wade said he planned on pursuing an acting career.
