Redemption Island: Ozzy defeats Christine and re-enters the game, Keith is the first sent post-merge

Reward / Immunity Challenge winner: Dawn & Ozzy

Eliminated: Christine

Player notes:

  • Ozzy lays it on thick at the Redemption Island Challenge, lambasting Cochran – but Upolu doesn’t buy it
  • Upon merging, Cochran started his double agent schtick on Coach, who immediately called his bluff and laid out the entire plan as it was executed
  • After being called out, Cochran came clean to all of the old Upolu alliance, admitting everything
  • Cochran later reveals the Savaii vote plan to Sophie and Coach but Dawn appears to reel him back in by persuading him to play with integrity

Friends & Foes:

  • Cochran later confides in Dawn and they both agree that they are outcasts in the tribe and may need to make a move against them, and the potential of betraying them and realizing the poor treatment of Cochran causes Dawn to break down; Cochran lays out their options and their alliance seems to be solidified
  • The Savaii alliance decides to let Whitney play the idol and take the odds with a split vote, having then 3 players sitting out the rock drawing
  • Cochran admits after Keith is eliminated that he flipped and he would explain later; Jim calls him a coward, Cochran tells him not to talk to him like that, and Brandon replies that is why Cochran flipped, telling Cochran to stay close to him

Other notes:

  • The tribes merged after Ozzy’s victory in the Redemption Island Challenge into Te Tuna
  • The first individual immunity went to the last man and last woman standing in the challenge
