In This Episode:
So what does Tony really want – to get rid of threats or to allow people to deserve it to play the game? His paranoid rant over Morgan’s ouster might have made us think that he wanted to beat the best the game had to offer, but it seems LJ was not only more worthy than Spencer or Jeremiah – he was a little too worthy.
LJ’s vote may have caused a power vacuum. We can’t expect Jefra or Trish will be too happy with Tony breaking up the alliance of six and they may see him as an unstable threat. Kass may not be as free of an agent as she likes to proclaim, and it’s not unreasonable to think she and Jefra could jump ship and realign with Spencer, Jeremiah, and Tasha leaving Tony, Trish, and Woo at the bottom of the totem pole.
Spencer is our feel-good player for the moment, and seeing him pump his fist after they pulled off the blindside was a nice change of pace from the ugly paranoia and scrambling that made up this episode. Spencer is a little better position but he may have been even better off if he had let LJ know of Tony’s duplicity and blindsided him instead. Tony could be out of the picture, his alliance on the ropes, and Spencer might be in front of a new majority alliance of five.
