Survivor: Palau’s Jennifer Lyon dies at 37

MSNBC is reporting the Jennifer Lyon, who finished in 4th place on Survivor: Palau and has been fighting breast cancer since just after Survivor Palau finished filming, has died at age 37.

Jennifer died at her home in Oregon on Tuesday night. She was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer which she ignored after feeling a lump, believing it to be scar tissue from breast implants. She was treated with a “modified, radical bilateral mastectomy, followed by courses of chemotherapy and tamoxifen, a drug used to prevent recurrence.”
