“Their Red-headed Step Child” – Frustration levels between Phil and the Ometepe girls reaches a new high after he confronts them over their laziness around camp, putting Rob in a difficult position to choose between useless tribemates. David convinces Stephanie to suck it up and suck up to the rest of the tribe, enabling him to make a case against keeping Sarita when Zapatera is sent to Tribal Council.
“We Hate Our Tribe” — Matt continues his reign at Redemption Island, while Stephanie and Krista seize the opportunity to let Rob know they would love to flip into his alliance come merge time. “Don’t You Work for Me?” Russell and Matt face off at Redemption Island, and although an emotional Russell is sent home he doesn’t leave without sabotaging the tribe that cast him out, spilling their secrets to witnesses Phillip and Kristina. At Ometepe, Phillip continues is odd and annoying behavior, and Rob is able to get his tribe out of camp long enough for him to find the Hidden Immunity Idol.
“Keep Hope Alive” — Francesca becomes the first casualty of Redemption Island, barely bested by Matt in the first challenge. The event is witnessed by David and Steve for Zapatera (as well as Ashley and Andrea for Ometepe), who file a false report with Russell as to the outcome of the challenge in hopes of throwing him off when they inevitably vote him out.
